Holcomb Gardens – On the grounds of Butler University, Holcomb Gardens is a serene area that features waterfalls, thousands of trees, showy flowers, and statuary. It’s a great place for a quiet picnic.


Monon Trail – Take a short bike ride to the 46th Street Monon trailhead, and follow the trail south to downtown or north as far as the town of Sheridan. This trail spans about 25 miles and passes a lot of popular restaurants.


Fall Creek Trail – This trail is accessible at 46th Street, just east of Binford and spans 10.5 miles between Skiles Test Nature Park and the 33rd Street Monon Trail access point.


Arsenal Park – Just east of the Monon Trail is Arsenal Park, where you can watch bike polo three times a week (this park has one of only a handful of paved official bike polo courts in the country).


Indiana State Fairgrounds – Ride your bicycle to the Indiana State Fair or any of the other popular events at the fairgrounds and avoid the fairgrounds parking fee.
